Hi Friend!

Hi, I’m Julie, the heart and hands behind Soft Touch ASMR. I created this space for gals and non-binary pals out of a personal need for comforting, gentle touch—something I struggled to find myself.

In 2007, I began experiencing anxiety for the first time. Traditional massages always felt too intense and invasive, but I longed for something softer—like the feeling of my mom gently scratching my back, or a childhood friend playing with my hair. That search led me to ASMR videos on YouTube, which became my nightly ritual and refuge.

In 2020, during the pandemic, I started my own YouTube channel, Friends with ASMR, to share that calming energy. To my surprise, it resonated—and I quickly grew a loyal audience. Many asked where they could feel this in real life. That question became my mission, and in 2022, I opened Soft Touch ASMR Spa to bring real-world ASMR into the hands and hearts of those who need it most.

My goal is simple: create a sanctuary where emotional boundaries are honored, your personhood is celebrated, and every touch is intentional, safe, and deeply relaxing. I believe in calm as a practice—not a product—and I’m honored to guide you into your moment of total ease.

Soft Touch ASMR is the result of that journey—an intimate, carefully curated experience designed to help your nervous system reset through gentle brushing, tracing, and whispered presence.

WHAT even IS ASMR?

Short for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, ASMR is a feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus, often a particular sound or gentle movements, such as hair brushing, nail scratching, and face brushing.

What We Believe In

To offer a compassionate, in-person ASMR experience that nurtures emotional wellness through mindful sensory connection and gentle care.

Our approach is grounded in six essentials:

- Presence – Intentional focus, no rush.

- Consent – Your comfort leads.

- Safety – Protected space, always.

- Comfort – Relaxation, your way.

- Care – Gentle, nonjudgmental connection.

- Trust – Openness and respect.

These are the cornerstones of every experience we create.

Why This Matters

Soft Touch isn’t just about a session—it’s about a pause in your day to reconnect with yourself: a reprieve from stress, an invitation to breathe, and a reminder that stillness can feel heavenly.

By grounding our practice in presence, consent, safety, care, and trust, we honor your journey—not just your time at our space, but your broader path toward emotional well-being.
